The Indianapolis Colts benefit from being in a weaker division, though beating any NFL team isn’t easy. Their non-divisional schedule makes up for any softness in their divisional schedule. They travel to take on the Denver Broncos, the defending AFC Champions. They also travel to take on the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers, none of whom made the playoffs but all three are capable.

Their home schedule is a bit more difficult. They host the New England Patriots, who have gone to two straight AFC Championship games. They host the last two NFC East Champions in the Washington Redskins and the Philadelphia Eagles and the last two AFC North Champions in the Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals.
