The New England Patriots have come close to the Super Bowl for two straight seasons. After coming up short in 2013 they’re looking to get back over that hurdle in 2014 and have a pretty tough schedule standing in their way.

At Gillette Stadium they’ll host their AFC Conference Championship game opponent, the Denver Broncos, as well as the Cincinnati Bengals, a team that has gone to the playoffs three straight seasons with quarterback Andy Dalton.

Their road schedule features trips to take on four playoff teams including the Kansas City Chiefs who started the seasons 9-0, the San Diego Chargers, Green Bay Packers and the Indianapolis Colts.
