NBA Playoffs 2014: Top 5 plays from Wednesday’s games (GIF)
The NBA playoffs featured some of the biggest stars in the league in action last night with LeBron James and the Miami Heat taking on the Charlotte Bobcats, Tim Duncan and Dirk Nowitzki battling in the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks series and Dwight Howard and James Harden leading the Houston Rockets against the Portland Trail Blazers where we’re seeing the birth of the league’s next star(s).
LaMarcus Aldridge dropped 40-plus points for the second game in a row as the Trail Blazers took the first two on the road and look like an extremely dangerous team that could make some noise in the Western Conference playoffs with the emergence of Aldridge and point guard Damian Lillard.
Let’s take a look at the top five plays from Wednesday’s slate of games with Aldridge starting the countdown.
The Spurs beat the buzzer at the end of the first half, but they were outscored by 16 in the second half and lost by 21.
The Bobcats may have lost to the Heat, but Gerald Henderson had this ferocious block on a dunk attempt by Udonis Haslem.
The Rockets lost to the Blazers but Howard did his part with 32 points and 14 rebounds and this alley-oop from Jeremy Lin.
