Just last week, Latvian star Kristaps Porzingis decided that he would not be entering the NBA Draft.
According to Jonathan Givony of Draft Express, Porzingis had a change of heart just before Sunday night’s deadline and decided to declare for the 2014 draft.
Surprising development: Latvian 7-footer Kristaps Porzingis (1995) has entered his name in the 2014 draft. 1st round prospect for sure.

It was somewhat surprising to some when Porzingis did not originally declare. Givony ranks Porzingis as the third-best international prospect born in 1995, ranks him 23rd among his top 100 prospect and has him slated to go 23rd overall in the 2014 Draft.
The Utah Jazz, via the Golden State Warriors, own the 23rd overall pick.
He is a 7’0, 220-pound power forward/center from Ventspils, Latvia.
Last season, he averaged 6.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 14.5 minutes per game this season for Cajasol Banca Civica this season.
Should Porzingis, who just turned 19 earlier in April, change his mind, he has until June 16 at 5:00 pm EST to withdraw from the draft.
