As our 2014 NFL Draft previews continue to roll on, the Dallas Cowboys are on the clock. The Cowboys are always one of the most intriguing teams in the league, and this year is no different with the Cowboys showing some potential interest in adding Texas A&M star Johnny Manziel.

It is highly unlikely that the Cowboys will make a trade up to acquire Manziel, but that will actually work in their favor.

By hanging on to their current draft picks, the Cowboys will have the opportunity to load up on talent in the front seven, which is something they completely lack with very few players capable of playing in Monte Kiffin’s 4-3 scheme currently on the roster.

Look for players like Florida State’s Timmy Jernigan or Aaron Donald of Pitt to be in the mix. If the defensive tackles are gone, then Ha’Sean Clinton-Dix or Calvin Pryor could be options that would help fix the team’s safety woes that have plagued them for years.
