Ronda Rousey would welcome fight with Bethe Correia

Following her second straight win in the UFC and the eighth win of her professional career, Bethe Correia took a shot at “The Four Horsewomen” with a mocking hand gesture. Correia defeated Jessamyn Duke who, along with UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler and Marina Shafir, is a member of the California-based fight team and now the others are ready for a shot at Correia.

The hand gesture from the Brazilian caught the attention of everyone and Rousey is one of the people who actually loves what Correia did even if it was a sign of disrespect.

“The interesting thing was after the fight she put up four fingers and pulled one down for three,” Rousey said during an appearance on Fighter and the Kid. “It’s smart. That’s what they needed to do. The girls are taking the f—ing cue by getting people interested [in the women’s division] so now Shayna called this girl out and I think she’s fighting her next. I don’t know exactly when that fight will go down, but yeah, Shayna and her.”

If Correia could beat Baszler, Rousey would be more than willing to face her in a title fight. As an added bonus, she threw in another shot at rival Miesha Tate.

“I’m saying, if Miesha Tate can get a title shot and she hadn’t even won a single match in the UFC then this chick who’s undefeated and beat two of my friends could be a very interesting fight for me,” Rousey said.

Correia vs. The Four Horsewomen has quickly become one of the more intriguing story lines in women’s mixed martial arts and the attention it will bring to the division is a big win for everyone involved.
