Ahead of this week’s draft, Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins has already signed a deal with sports apparel giant adidas. They also signed Ohio State running back Carlos Hyde.

Earlier on Monday, Sports Illustrated’s Peter King wrote on his Monday Morning Quarterback column that he expects the Jacksonville Jaguars to play it safe with their No. 3 overall draft pick. He said that could come down to either Watkins or offensive tackle Jake Matthews out of Texas A&M. There are also reports that the St. Louis Rams are interested in Watkins ahead of the Jaguars No. 3 pick at the No. 2 spot.
