There are reports that the Detroit Lions are considering trading up from their No. 10 overall pick to try and draft Texas A&M Aggies wide receiver Mike Evans. Couple that with the signing of free agent Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate and it looks like the Lions have a duo of receivers to support Calvin Johnson.
It also could look like the Lions are giving up on former Oklahoma wide receiver Ryan Broyles, who has been plagued with injury problems tearing his Achilles and both ACLs since his senior season. Lions general manager Martin Mayhew said that the Lions aren’t giving up on Broyles yet however.
Mayhew on Broyles: "I believe in Ryan and he’s one of the hardest working guys I’ve ever seen."

More Mayhew on Broyles: "I believe in him. I’m not going to build the whole offense around him, but I believe in that man"
