A lot has been made about this year’s wide receiver class and as a result, many are predicting we are going to see a run on receivers in the first round. The New York Jets are among the teams in the middle of the round in need of a receiver, but one of the players they covet may not be there when they go on the clock.

There seems to be wildly conflicting reports on just where we will see a run on wide receivers, if we even see one at all. The fact of the matter is, we can’t predict the draft and while it’s very possible that Beckham is gone by the time the Jets go on the clock, he may be there if we see a run on other positions.

Still, teams know they have to jump the Jets if they want a receiver and that might cause a run on not only receivers but first-round trades as well.
