The Houston Texans are running out of time to decide who will be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, but there is still a chance that the Texans will not be the first team handing in their card to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

Texans general manager Rick Smith spoke out about the possibility of the team trading out of the top spot, and he says that the team has had “enough conversations to legitimately move.”

Of course, the Texans are looking for a large ransom in return.

While there is still an outside chance that the Texans will trade down on Thursday night, it is looking increasingly likely and we would still bet that the team makes South Carolina defensive tackle Jadeveon Clowney the No. 1 pick in this year’s draft.
