With the 2014 NFL Draft just a little over 24 hours away from getting started, the question as to whom will be the top overall pick by the Houston Texans, or any sort of potential trade partner, is still very much up in the air. However, if it was up to the best player in the NBA, the Miami Heat’s LeBron James, he already knows who he wants to see leave the green room first and it’s his good buddy Johnny Manziel.

“Being a huge supporter and friend of Johnny, I want him to go No. 1,” James said during a Heat news conference. “Wherever he lands, he’s going to be a heck of a football player for that franchise.”

Now of course, there is a very good chance that Manziel will in fact not go with the first pick, which also makes it completely possible that he could become the new face of LeBron’s old city in Cleveland with the Browns, which James wouldn’t mind seeing neither.

“If he happens to go to Cleveland, then I’ll have two ‘family members’ there in him and Donte Whitner,” James said.

Now Manziel going to Cleveland to fill that megastar void that was left by James when he left for Miami sure would be interesting to watch play out.
