Heading into Wednesday night’s game 2 showdown with the Los Angeles Clippers, the Thunder didn’t quite have a must-win game on their hands because they were not facing elimination, but they certainly had their backs against the wall.

After losing game 1 at home in blowout fashion, 122-105, they did not want to head west to Los Angeles in an 0-2 hole.

During the second quarter, it looked like that could be the case. The Clippers fought back to erase an 11-point deficit to take the lead. The Thunder, however, ended the half on a strong note, taking a 61-56 lead into the break.

In the third quarter, they blew things open, using a 25-9 run to push their lead to 20 late in the quarter.

During the run, Russell Westbrook blew by Chris Paul and finished with a huge dunk to push the lead to 80-68.

Here are two different angles of the jam.
