The elite athletes that will be drafted tonight in the NFL Draft will have a lot to look forward to other than Football. Many of the top picks usually sign endorsement deals that come with hefty paychecks as well.

Jadeveon Clowney, who many expect to go No. 1 overall to the Houston Texans tonight, recently signed an endorsement deal with Puma. ESPN first reported the news, stating that the terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Puma does not have a deal with the NFL, so Clowney will not be able to wear Puma cleats in game. That does not seem to bother Jay Piccola, the president of Puma North America, who is extremely excited about their new signee:

"He represents everything we are and the consumer we are trying to attract. He’s already a known brand to consumers and retailers alike."

For Clowney, the Puma deal is his fourth thus far. He signed two long term deals with Wilson and New Era, while signing a draft week deal with Gillette.
