Despite the 2014 NFL Draft being just one hour away, there is plenty of intrigue and uncertainty surrounding how the first round will pay out. For the Green Bay Packers, there will be plenty of waiting as the craziness in the first half of the draft plays out.

While the Packers will need to see how the dominoes fall before making their selection, NFL draft insider Tony Pauline says that general managers “expect” the Packers to draft either Ohio State linebacker Ryan Shazier or Alabama linebacker C.J. Mosley.

Pauline also suggests some other options for the Packers.

“If Anthony Barr drops to 21 that would be extremely enticing for Pack and the expectation is defensive coordinator Dom Capers would push hard to select him,” Pauline wrote. “Should they trade down Weston Richburg will become the target.”

We will have to wait and see how it all plays out.
