Vikings rookie Teddy Bridgewater wants to get his weight up
By David Miniel
The Minnesota Vikings traded with the Seattle Seahawks for the final pick in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft and got themselves one of the top quarterbacks available.
I figured Bridgewater would end up slipping into the second round, but I was wrong. Now according to Albert Breer on Twitter, Bridgewater is saying that he wants to get his weight up into the 225 range.
We all know that Bridgewater is not that big, so if he’s looking to bulk up he’s going to need to get to work almost immediately. The rookie quarterback weighed in at 214 pounds at the combine earlier in the year, so he’s not that far off from reaching his goal.
All I know is Bridgewater is great addition to this Minnesota Vikings offense.
