The biggest scandal in the NBA at the omen doesn’t involves the CBA, steroids or any sort of logical basketball issue. Instead, the basketball world has been gripped by a bitter old racist and his wife who refuses to understand that she needs to pay for sins she allowed to happen.

But aside from the astronomically idiotic stance that Shelly Sterling has on the issue of ownership of the Clippers, her husband Donald Sterling has sat down for the first time to be interviewed after his heinous views on the world became public knowledge.

Anderson Cooper from CNN interviewed Sterling and the footage will air tomorrow night on Cooper’s show, but already we’re hearing bits and pieces of the interview and most of it involves Sterling groveling for forgiveness.

A mistake is forgetting to use shampoo when you shower before a date, having racist views is something completely different on very level. Sterling may want forgiveness but the fact that he sees his racist views as merely a mistake — like he dropped his phone in the toilet — goes to show just how out of touch with reality he is.
