The Buffalo Bills traded up in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft to select former Clemson star wide receiver Sammy Watkins. There was some immediate buzz around the Bills organization and their fan base following the addition of Watkins, and he has wasted no time getting involved with the Bills Mafia.

While Watkins was on his tour introducing himself to the local media and familiarizing himself with his new Bills teammates and the facilities, Watkins stopped by to visit Pro Football Hall of Famer and legendary Bills quarterback Jim Kelly in the hospital.

Watkins posted a photo of his visit with Kelly on Instagram, along with Kelly’s nephew, former Clemson quarterback Chad Morris.

Watkins wrote, “Pray for Uncle Jim great guy it’s crazy how strong he is and how he continues to smile and make jokes.”

This shows a ton of class for the youngster and it is great to see he is already embracing the Bills history as he prepares to make his impact felt on the field.
