Justin Blackmon is one of the most talented wide outs in the National Football League, but his inability to stay out of trouble off the field has led to the receiver wasting away his talent as he waits out multiple suspensions from the league.

The latest suspension Blackmon received from the NFL came at the midway point of the regular season last year, and his reinstatement is nowhere in sight.

Jaguars owner Shad Khan recently spoke about the team’s No. 5 overall pick from the 2012 NFL Draft, and he dubbed Blackmon’s situation “an absolute tragedy.”

I think it’s an absolute tragedy. I think he’s such a talented guy,” Khan said, via Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com. “The best years [are] ahead of him but after a while it’s out of your control.”

The good news for Jacksonville is that they addressed wide receiver in the 2014 NFL Draft and reloaded their receiving corp with some talented players that should be able to help out young quarterback Blake Bortles as he prepares to step onto the NFL field.

As for Blackmon, it is safe to assume that his days in Jacksonville are likely over and he will be looking for a new job once he is finally reinstated by the league.
