Despite the New York Knicks being the heavy favorite to land Steve Kerr as their next head coach, the Golden State Warriors swooped in and signed Kerr to a five-year, $25 million deal.
Warriors’ owner Joe Lacob is very excited about the move and Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports has the scoop.
"We love Kerr. Incredibly prepared. We got him because of our players. The Golden State Warriors' future is bright," Joe Lacob says in text.

Kerr certainly has a lot of talent to work with, but in the Western Conference, just advancing out of the first round is quite the chore.
