No one knows much about Real Madrid forward Nikola Mirotić.

Although he was selected with the 23rd overall pick in the first round of the 2011 NBA Draft and the 6’10, 220-pounder is a very talented prospect, NBA fans aren’t very familiar with him because he is yet to play in the NBA.

It looked like the Bulls may ask Mirotić to spend another season playing in Spain, but according to K.C. Johnson of The Chicago Tribune, that may not be the case.

"The Bulls will begin negotiations for the first time this offseason with Mirotic, who has a buyout this summer. Though Real Madrid made noise about possibly signing Mirotic to an extension beyond the one year remaining on his deal, that could contain an out clause should Mirotic opt for the NBA.“We have built a relationship with him,” general manager Gar Forman said at last week’s NBA draft combine. “We feel confident he will come over at some point. Whether that’s this summer or next, we don’t know.”"

Mirotić averaged 13.3 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.2 steals per game this season.
