Orlando Magic release schedule for NBA Summer League

One of the biggest events following the NBA draft is the NBA Summer Leagues, which gives fans their first chance to see the newest additions to their favorite teams. The leagues take place in Las Vegas and Orlando in early July and consist of a short schedule that last about a week.

The Orlando Magic host their summer league in their practice facility each year and have released the schedule for the event. The Magic released the schedule via a press release Thursday Morning.
"The Orlando Magic will host the Southwest Airlines Orlando Pro Summer League at the team’s practice court at the Amway Center from July 5-11, 2014. The 25-game, seven-day event will feature the Orlando Magic, Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, Detroit Pistons, Houston Rockets, Indiana Pacers, Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat, Oklahoma City Thunder and Philadelphia 76ers."
The event will begin just a few days after the NBA free agency gets underway and the Las Vegas Summer League will follow the conclusion of the games in Orlando. NBA TV will provide coverage throughout the week in Orlando and each game is expected to be televised. The games do have a slightly different rules than what are used in official NBA games such as 10 minutes quarters and no foul out rule.
