New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will appear on the June 2nd episode of Whose Line is it Anyway? and try to show off his improv skills against the likes of Wayne Brady, Ryan Stiles and company on the CW program.

More from New England Patriots

Gronkowski didn’t attend the famous Second City in Chicago to bone up on his improv skills, but he has a penchant for the spotlight and seems like he would be a good sport on the reincarnated British skit we used to watch on Comedy Central back in the day.

It remains to be seen if his skills on the improv stage will compare to his impressive skills as one of the best tight ends in the NFL–when healthy–but it should result in some higher ratings for the Monday night episode, especially in the New England region.

Gronkowski was limited to seven games last season due to injury, recording 39 receptions for 592 yards and four touchdowns. Gronkoswki has missed 15 games over the last two seasons since he had 90 receptions for 1,327 yards and an NFL-leading 17 touchdowns in 2011 and earned All-Pro recognition.

Hopefully for the Patriots and their fans Gronkowski will be healthy and on the field for the Patriots this season.
