Monday afternoon brought upon one of the announcements that all baseball fans look forward to as the complete field was announced for the 2014 College World Series in Omaha. While not garnering much mainstream attention throughout the regular season, you can’t question that this tournament is one of the most exciting events of the year as 64 teams battle it out for the right to be called the national champions.
This year, after going 42-12 in the regular season in the Pac-12, the Oregon State Beavers earned the distinction of being the top overall seed in the entire tournament, while the SEC champion Florida Gators were tabbed as the number two overall seed.
Here’s a look at how all of the regions will be breaking down this year as teams begin their road to Omaha, courtesy of the official College World Series twitter account.
