The Orlando Magic finished with the league’s third-worst record and likely hoped to move up in last week’s NBA Draft Lottery. Instead, they actually moved back a spot and have the fourth-overall pick in the draft.

The Magic reportedly covet former Kansas Jayhawks’ forward Andrew Wiggins and Australian point guard Dante Exum. It would be a complete shock if the Magic landed Wiggins at four, but Exum seems likely to be there.

Two other prospects, Wiggins’ former Jayhawks’ teammate, Center Joel Embiid, and former Duke Blue Devils’ forward Jabari Parker are also in the top group.

According to Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders, the Magic will keep it simple, likely selecting whoever remains out of those four prospects.

"If Exum is gone in the top three that means someone else fell… so if Wiggins or Parker are there, I am fairly sure they grab that guy. They can address point guard at #12 or in free agency or in trade. The Magic have been clear that they are drafting for their future and nothing on the roster now will influence that, so if its Embiid, they draft Embiid, if its Wiggins they draft Wiggins. They are in a really good spot at #4 to get one of the top guys. The only name I think does not work for them is Julius Randle, but I think they are going to look at him too."

Embiid averaged  11.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.6 blocks and 1.4 assists per game last season while Wiggins put up 17.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks per game and Parker went for 19.1 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.2 blocks and 1.1 steals per game.
