The Miami Heat have already punched their ticket to the NBA Finals and are awaiting the winner of the Western Conference Finals, a winner we saw crowned on Saturday night. For the second straight year, the San Antonio Spurs will be meeting the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals and things are right back to where they were last year between those two teams.
But to get to the Finals, the Spurs had to get through the Oklahoma City Thunder which was a task easier said than done. Despite this being a series that was generally defined by the blowout wins we saw on either side, Game 6 went to overtime and took things down to the absolute very last moment to determine a winner.
That winner, for a second straight year, ended up being the San Antonio Spurs and fans took Twitter to celebrate yet another Conference Championship.
Awwww. Looks like it's a rematch. Take what's rightfully yours, Spurs!!! #whitewalkers

The Spurs were just that much better than OKC today. Only got 19 minutes of Parker on the road, and they still did it.

Give the Spurs credit for getting back to the Finals after a heartbreaking loss last year. I say they win it this year.
