On Saturday night, the San Antonio Spurs were able to defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder in overtime of Game 6 to claim the Western Conference championship.

Not only did San Antonio win the West for a second straight year, but they also set up a rematch in the NBA Finals with LeBron James and the Miami Heat.
This year’s match up gives us the No. 1 seed from the West and the No. 2 seed from the East, with San Antonio getting home court advantage throughout the series. There is also a new format this season.
Rather than the previous 2-3-2 format that the NBA employed, the league has decided to go with the 2-2-1-1-1 format that we see work out so well for other sports and create some exciting closing stretches to the series.
The NBA Playoffs have been great so far this year and we hope that can continue when the Spurs try to stop the Heat from achieving a three-peat.
