The NBA Draft is less than a month away, and now that we have had the Draft Lottery and know exactly which pick each team has, things have only gotten more hectic. Every day there are workouts and rumors and reports–sometimes contradicting things we heard less than 24 hours before.

More from Boston Celtics

We hear which players teams are zeroing in on, and which teams the players themselves would like to play for. We hear about potential trades–some minor and some potential blockbusters. All in all, most of it is just white noise that means little until draft night has arrived.

Going into the draft, some teams still haven’t made up their minds on who to select, while other teams have already nailed down the guy they want. The Boston Celtics, according to reports, fall into the latter group, as they apparently already have their guy with over three weeks still left to go.

From Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix:

"Several league sources believe that Celtics GM Danny Ainge is locked in on Gordon. While Gordon’s shooting is a concern, he is a strong rebounder and shot blocker who can defend either forward spot and has been compared to Shawn Marion."

Of course, with Danny Ainge running things in Boston, there’s always the potential for the Celtics to end up trading the pick. If the Celtics are interested in getting Kevin Love, the number six overall pick would almost certainly have to be included in the deal.

With plenty of time until draft day arrives though, don’t be surprised if things change as more reports and rumors flow in.
