NBA Draft Rumors 2014: Aaron Gordon to work out for Celtics, Jazz & Magic
Former Arizona Wildcats’ power forward Aaron Gordon is one of the more interesting prospects in the 2014 NBA Draft.

Gordon didn’t have the hype of former Kansas Jayhawks’ forward Andrew Wiggins, former Duke Blue Devils’ forward Jabari Parker or even former Kentucky Wildcats’ power forward Julius Randle coming out of high school, nor was he as productive as those three players, but he was still a very highly-touted recruit and has the look of a top-10 pick in the draft.
Gordon has already worked out for several teams, including the Los Angeles Lakers, who he would love to play for and most recently, the Sacramento Kings. The Lakers seem like a good landing spot for Gordon, but he may not be available when they go on the clock with the seventh-overall pick because the rival Boston Celtics, who hold the sixth-overall selection, are reportedly “locked in” on Gordon.
According to Sean Cunningham, Gordon will soon be working for the Celtics and then will visit the teams that hold the fourth and fifth-overall selections, the Orlando Magic and Utah Jazz.

Although Gordon is an excellent athlete, it looks like former Indiana Hoosiers’ big man Noah Vonleh has risen above him on some boards, according to several reports.
Gordon, who measured in at 6’8.75″ and 220 points with a wingspan of 6’11.75″ at the NBA’s Scouting Combine, averaged 12.1 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game while shooting 49.5% from the field, 35.6% from beyond the arc and 42.2% from the free throw line for the Wildcats this season.
