However, there are still very talented prospects in what should be an extremely deep draft. The Jazz are apparently eyeing former Indiana Hoosiers’ big man Noah Vonleh and former Oklahoma State Cowboys’ point guard Marcus Smart.

Although the news around Vonleh, who appears to be shooting up the draft boards, and the Jazz has been heating up, the Jazz already have a very good young power forward in Derrick Favors.

However, the Jazz front office see Favors as a center in the long term and believe that Vonleh would be a nice fit alongside him, according to Tony Jones of The Salt Lake Tribune.

Vonleh, who measured in at 6’9.5 and 247 lbs. with an impressive wingspan of 7’4.5, averaged 11.3 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game while shooting 52.3% from the field and 71.6% from the free throw line last season.

The 22-year old Favors put up 13.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, 1.2 assists and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 52.2% from the field and 66.9% from the charity stripe last season.
