College World Series 2014 bracket: Vanderbilt, Texas Tech punch tickets to Omaha

After a few teams punched their tickets to Omaha for the 2014 College World Series on Saturday, they were joined on Sunday by the Texas Tech Red Raiders joined them as they completed their Super Regionals sweep of College of Charleston with another 1-0 victory, their second in a row.
Texas Tech came into this year’s tournament as a two seed and have now pushed their record to 44-19-0 overall on the season.

On Saturday it was the Texas Longhorns, Louisville Cardinals and UC-Irvine Anteaters that secured their spots and now this talented Red Raiders team will join them on the road to the 2014 College Baseball national championship. For a look at the updated bracket, you can simply click here.
Also on Sunday, Vanderbilt finished out their grueling three-game series with Stanford from the weekend, walking away with the 12-5 win and also making sure that they’ll have a shot at the title.

There are only three slots left now, which will be determined within the next two days, and then the complete 2014 College World Series picture will be crystal clear.
