Jimmy Kimmel Live’s very own parking lot security guard, Guillermo, hit San Antonio in advance of the NBA Finals for NBA Media Day. As you can imagine, he fit right in with the microphone-toting journalists. Yes, lint roller and all. Check it out.

It was also a great video to show us which players can handle jokes in the media, and which ones have no time for that stuff. Kawhi Leonard seemed to want nothing to do with good old Guillermo or anyone not speaking in stone serious tones. Mano a Manu on the other hand was sheer brilliance, right down to Manu’s quick answer.

More from NBA

The best interviewed player award goes to Shane Battier who around the 2:30 mark rolled with Guillermo’s punches, taking a bite of the man’s jerky microphone and singing songs “Let It Go” from the animated film Frozen. Battier is always one of the better interviews in an NBA locker room and even when someone isn’t seriously asking him hard line basketball questions, the man can handle himself just fine.

The only notable absences from the interviews were LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. Wade was probably still nursing his injury from some awful, blatant swipe that he had to dive around after, but I wonder what was keeping LeBron glued to that floor, other than the whole best player in the world thing. Guess you have to do a lot to maintain that status. Maybe next time, Guillermo.
