At one point, it looked like Randle was a lock to go in the top-five of the 2014 NBA Draft, which is now just two weeks away), but as of late, but that certainly does not appear to be the case now. On Thursday, we may have found out why. According to a report from Jeff Goodman of ESPN.com, Julius Randle may need surgery to fix a problem with his foot and Goodman believes that is scaring teams off.
“This is an issue,” one executive told ESPN.com. “It didn’t heal right.”
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, “multiple” teams now have Randle’s medical information and do indeed believe he is going to need surgery. Usually, a simple procedure wouldn’t concern teams, but it is believed this issue could lead to larger injury problems in the future.

NBA teams are worried that Randle failing to undergo a relatively minor procedure this summer could leave him open to major problems later.
