We’ve heard teams like the Knicks, Suns and Warriors get mentioned in trade talks with the Wolves but some other teams are starting to creep into the conversation.
According to Darren Wolfson from ESPN1500, there may or may not be some chatter going on between the Wolves and the Miami Heat when it comes to trading Kevin Love. Wolfson sort of brushes off the notion that such talks are going on but he doesn’t discount that a team like the Heat could be involved on a serious level.
The Heat acquiring Love would take some maneuvering and would likely involve trading away Chris Bosh and other valuable assets. The problem there though is that Bosh can opt out of his contract this offseason and a trade to Minnesota would likely spur him to do that very thing.
Still, even if it’s not the Heat involved in talks, Wolfson might be spot on when he points out a big name team could be involved at come point. Eyes have darted the way of the San Antonio Spurs and Chicago Bulls and someone like the Indiana Pacers could be a dark horse to land Love.
What this really tells us is that just about everyone could be and likely is involved with Kevin Love trade talks at some level.
