US Open leaderboard 2014: Live score updates for Round 1 Thursday

The second major tournament of the golf season kicks off today, when the top players in the world hit the course at Pinehurst for the opening round of the 2014 U.S. Open.

Live coverage of the tournament will start at 9 a.m. ET on ESPN, before switching to NBC at 3 p.m. ET.
When the coverage begins, notables such as Jason Day, Sergio Garcia and tournament favorite Rory McIlroy will already have begun their first-round of golf.
