Chandler Parsons: LeBron James will be ‘in a different jersey next year’
By Mike Dyce
Houston Rockets forward Chandler Parsons knows a thing about free agents and recruiting them to leave their teams. So while on the SportsNation show he might have been doing a little recruiting or just offering a really straight forward no-nonsense opinion on Miami Heat superstar LeBron James’ future.

Notably, Parsons thinks James will opt out and leave the Heat in free agency.
“I think if they would have won the championship it would have been a different story and they would have come back to do it again but he’s got so much responsibility, he’s obviously one of the best players if not the best player, I think them losing will make him make a move and opt out and you’ll see him in a different jersey next year.”
Parsons added: “I just don’t think he’ll be back on the Heat, I think he has done all he can do there and it is time for him to move on.”
Parsons didn’t list the Rockets as a potential landing spot for James, and said he couldn’t see him going to the Los Angeles Lakers but added that he could see him returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The return to Cleveland is a storyline many NBA fans want to see, especially those in Ohio. But any and every team that can afford James will be making a run at him when free agency starts.
