The Golden State Warriors remain in hot pursuit of Kevin Love as the Minnesota Timberwolves seem resigned to the fact their franchise player will not be on the roster much longer and the Warriors offer may be the best one they receive for the All-Star power forward.

More from Golden State Warriors

The Warriors had been hesitant to include sharpshooter Klay Thompson in any potential trade for Love, but ESPN’s Marc Stein reports the club has softened their stance and are willing to move Thompson to get a deal done.

ESPN’s Chris Broussard tweets the Warriors are willing to trade Thompson and David Lee to get Love, Kevin Martin, JJ Berea and the Timberwolves first round pick which is No. 13 overall.

If you’re the Timberwolves would you consider this deal?

Other potential suitors such as the Chicago Bulls, Denver Nuggets and Boston Celtics have been reported as having offers on the table for Love, but would either of those teams be willing to part with a player as young and talented as Thompson?

This proposed offer looks like the Timberwolves are giving up far more than they are receiving, especially when you include Martin and the club’s first round pick, but if that’s the best offer on the table, then teams know the Timberwolves don’t have much in the way of leverage with Love stating his intentions to get out of Minnesota and exploring free agency in 2015.
