The Phoenix Suns are looking at this year’s draft with a lot of confidence as they own three first-rounders with two falling inside of the top 20. Because of this, the Suns will be able to pick basically whoever they want and have the luxury of trading picks if they want to.

Right now the Suns are looking at trying to possibly use their picks to acquire Kevin Love but with the Warriors moving into the lead on that front, Phoenix is moving towards other trade possibilities and that includes moving picks for future ones. That’s what Adrian Wojnarowski reports the Suns will consider doing as the 27th overall pick in the draft is more valuable than some may think.

Not only is this a deep draft that teams want to try and dig as far into as they can, but there are teams like the Knicks, Nets and others without a first rounder who are looking at purchasing one from someone selling. The Suns want a future first, which the Knicks likely wouldn’t give up but we could see the Nets pounce on this and get into the late first-round courtesy of the Suns trading one of the handful of first round picks.
