One way to do that would be to add another star to the roster to go with the No. 1 pick and Kyrie Irving, which would create an incredible supporting class for LeBron to work with.
Cleveland has been doing their research on a potential trade for Kevin Love, but it seems unlikely considering what the team is and isn’t willing to part ways with to make a trade for the Minnesota Timberwolves star come to fruition.
According to Pro Basketball Draft, the Cavaliers are not willing to trade away Irving or the top pick in this year’s draft for Love.
That certainly would stall any trade talks with the Timberwolves, considering there are a number of other potential suitors out there who could put together more intriguing compensation packages for Minnesota.
With teams like the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers emerging as favorites for Love, the Cavaliers seem to be taking a backseat.
That said, they shouldn’t give up on the dream of bringing LeBron back to Cleveland because they have the cap space to pursue a number of this year’s top free agents.
