NBA Draft Rumors: Utah Jazz offering Derrick Favors, Alec Burks & No. 5 pick for No. 1 pick

It appears as though the Cleveland Cavaliers are open to dealing the fifth-overall pick, especially now that former Kansas Jayhawks’ center Joel Embiid has had surgery to correct a stress fracture in his right foot.

The Philadelphia 76ers may use the third-overall pick (they also have the 10th-overall pick) and forward Thaddeus Young to entice the Cavaliers while the Orlando Magic could use some combination of the fourth-overall pick, 12th-overall pick and guard Arron Afflalo (and possibly future picks) to get a deal done.

According to Spencer Checketts of 1280 The Zone in Salt Lake City, Utah, the Jazz are offering power forward Derrick Favors are offering big man Derrick Favors, guard Alec Burks and the fifth-overall pick for the number one-overall pick.

Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio confirmed the report.

Favors averaged 13.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.2 assists per game while shooting 52.2% from the field and 66.9% from the free throw line. Burks went for 14.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game while shooting 45.7% from the field, 35.0% from three and 74.8% from the free throw line.
