The NBA offseason is upon us and June 30th is going to be a big date for free agents who are looking to opt out of their deals or opt back in and take the money that have coming to them. Down in Miami, three of the best players in the entire league are looking at their options and what they can do, and it’s starting to look like they might all opt-out.

More from Miami Heat

Everyone is transfixed on when LeBron James will opt out of his deal or if he’ll opt back in but no matter what happens with opting out or opting back in, there seems to be a good chance that the Heat bring back all three of their biggest players.

According to Chuck Myron, the Miami Heat need to keep the Big 3 together and they have roughly a 70 percent chance of keeping their core together through this offseason.

"I’d say they have about 70% chance of keeping their three stars. But realistic targets depend on how many of them take discounts, and how steep those discounts are. Everyone from Carmelo Anthony to Caron Butler is in play in terms of upgrades."

The biggest sticking point for LeBron James is that the Heat didn’t do what they needed to do in the offseason last year to add role players that would help the team. He turned out to be right as the Heat flamed out hard and fast in the NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs, largely thanks to the lack of role players and bench help.

If the Heat can bring on some decent players to help make the Heat into an unstoppable team, then that’s an attractive option for the Big 3. No matter what though, the team is still one of the best places for the three players to land and that’s why their chances of returning are so good.
