The Cleveland Cavaliers have the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft this year and as a result they’re fielding more than a few trade calls to see who can offer what to land the top pick.

But despite the calls and the seemingly solid offers, the Cavaliers aren’t finding the deal they feel will be the one worth parting with the top pick for and are standing pat as of now. According to Sam Amico from Fox Sports Ohio, the Cavaliers could be very busy when draft night finally rolls around on Thursday night.
Sense is, despite buzz, Cavs not close to deal they like. Told they could be really busy Thursday night, "or it may be nothing."

The fact of the matter is, the Cavaliers would be stupid to trade the pick now, as there is still well over two days left to field offers and try to get teams to outbid one another. That’s why waiting until Thursday is the best bet for the Cavaliers to make a trade but that doesn’t mean the next two days won’t be jam packed with more rumors like the ones we’ve been hearing leading up to today.
Utah made a big push today to get the top pick and land Jabari Parker, but there are plenty of other teams in the mix with a lot more to offer and we can’t count out the Kevin Love trade talks until they’re officially dead.
Basically, the Cavaliers may want to trade the pick and may have a deal they already like, but they won’t say that publicly until THursday at the earliest.
