NBA Draft 2014: Hawks fans react to Adreian Payne on twitter

We saw this past season with another postseason run that the Atlanta Hawks are close to getting over the hump and working their way toward a potential championship. On Thursday night in the first round of the 2014 NBA Draft, they had a chance to upgrade some more as they held the 15th overall pick.

When it was their time to turn in the card to the podium, they selected Michigan State’s big man Adreian Payne, one of the most explosive forces in this draft.
