The Los Angeles Lakers, after a horrible season last year with the absence of Kobe Bryant, were awarded the 7th overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft via the lottery. Giving this team, with Kobe coming back, a Top 10 selection is very dangerous, and with that pick, they selected stud freshman Julius Randle out of Kentucky.
Randle developed by leaps and bounds last season under John Calipari, and it’s scary to think how much he can accomplish out in Los Angeles by playing with Bryant and whoever the coach will be.
After the pick was made, the Lakers faithful sounded off on twitter.
