The Philadelphia 76ers own two picks in the top-10 in tonight’s NBA Draft, but that could all change in the hours leading up to the draft as general manager, Sam Hinkie, is in a full court press mode to try and acquire the top pick from the Cleveland Cavaliers.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

According to Philadelphia Daily News‘ Bob Cooney, the 76ers want the No. 1 pick to take Kansas shooting guard Andrew Wiggins, but the asking price to move up two spots to take the uber-athletic prospect is going to cost the 76ers a great deal.

Tom Moore of the Bucks County Courier Times‘ reports the asking price for the No. 1 pick will be the 76ers No. 3, No. 10, No. 32 picks to move up two spots rather than sitting at No. 3 where they would likely take Australian point guard prospect Dante Exum.

On paper that may represent great value for the Cavaliers to move down two spots in what has been considered one of the deepest drafts in more than a decade, but what complicates this potential trade is the injury to Wiggins’ teammate at Kansas, Joel Embiid, who is out for four-six months after undergoing surgery to repair a stress fracture in his foot.

If healthy, there would have been three blue-chip prospects in Wiggins, Embiid and Jabari Parker from Duke, but his injury means there could be a precipitious dropoff from picks No. 2 to No. 3 as Moore points out.

If you’re the Cavaliers would you accept this trade from the 76ers and if you’re the 76ers would you be willing to give up this much to acquire a talent like Wiggins?
