Veteran NFL cornerback Antonio Cromartie is looking to have a bounce back year with the Arizona Cardinals after signing with the team during the offseason. Cromartie spent last season dealing with a hip injury when he was a member of the New York Jets, and according to him he is in great shape.

Cromartie took to Instagram to show off some footage of an offseason workout.

If he is to be believed, Cromartie is running faster than he ever has in his career.

Speed has always been a strength for Cromartie, who clocked a 4.47 during the 2006 NFL Scouting Combine.

With the latest time, he is faster now than he was when he entered the draft.

Here is the video Cromartie posted that claims he ran a 4.34 and 4.36 forty-yard dash.

Believe what you will.

Cromartie’s real time likely wasn’t a 4.34, but it is not out of the question to believe one of the trainers on the track hand-timed his run at that time.

What we can be certain of is the fact that Cromartie is motivated and ready to make an impact with his new team.
