END UPDATE

The Denver Broncos career for Aqib Talib is off to a terrible start as the Pro Bowl cornerback was arrested in Dallas overnight for allegedly being a disturbance by throwing bottles on a night out around the town.

More from Denver Broncos

Details are sketchy at the moment but no matter what happened last night it resulted in Talib being arrested which is going to cause all sorts of issues and headaches for the Broncos moving forward. According to MyFoxDFW.com, Talib was arrested on early Sunday morning and Talib was taken to the Dallas Marshall’s Office for being a danger to himself and to others.

"Talib was a danger to himself and others, as he was throwing bottles and causing a disturbance, according to police. The incident happened around 1:45 Sunday morning at Synn Nightclub at 1217 Main Street in Dallas.  28-year-old Talib was taken to the Dallas Marshall’s Office, according to Dallas police."

Talib had numerous run-ins with the law back in his early days with the Tampa Bay Buccaneeers. He was suspended for violating the league’s drug policy after taking Aderall and he was known for incidents such as beating up a taxi cab driver he didn’t feel like paying after his rookie season and being arrested for firing gun the next offseason.

Already the Broncos have had to deal with an arrest warrant for new safety T.j. Ward and this arrest by Talib goes to show that the NFL has an image problem that isn’t going away with bigger contracts and more sweeping under the rug.
