The Brooklyn Nets seem to be at a crossroads with Jason Kidd as the team’s head coach and it’s only been a single season. The story about the Milwaukee Bucks wanting to hire Kidd seems to have gained so much steam that the Nets are now likely to get rid of Kidd either way and they’ve begun to look at replacements for him.

Earlier in the day we heard the names of Mark Jackson and George Karl come up when talking about the possible soon-to-be vacant Nets coaching job but there is another name under even more consideration. According to Chris Mannix from Sports Illustrated, Lionel Hollins is under strong consideration to get the Nets job is it’s vacated by Jason Kidd.
Mark Jackson is on the Nets list as potential Kidd replacement, though I'm told is not high on it. Lionel Hollins under strong consideration

Hollins, like George Karl, turned in stellar 2012-13 seasons but both saw themselves without a job the following year. Both remain out of work but it appears that Hollins is in a good position to change that should the Nets job become available.
