The Miami Heat have officially seen their roster blow up as Dwyane Wade has opted out of his deal with the Heat and the Big 3 are disbanding for the time being. It may end up being only temporary, but there is a lot of anxiety in Miami about who will return and who will not.

More from Miami Heat

One player has been a question mark long before any of the Big 3 were, as veteran guard Ray Allen is about to enter his 19th season in the NBA and many believe his 18th could have been his last.

The Miami Heat are not in the group of people under the impression that his career is over. According to ESPN.com’s Jeff Goodman, the Miami Heat are moving forward with their offseason plans with Ray Allen a part of their plans.

It has been said that Allen will follow LeBron James, which right away makes having him on the team a necessity but that’s something Miami already knew. The Heat know that they need to make the team as appealing to LeBron James as possible and the best way to do that is fill it with players he loves. Ray Allen is at the top of that list and making sure he’s a part of the team moving forward — something Miami is already assuming he will be.
