The Brooklyn Nets may be done with Jason Kidd as their head coach following just one single season with him in charge.

It was a whirlwind season to say the least though and it may end in as spectacular a fashion as we could have hoped — and maybe a little more. According to multiple reports, the Milwaukee Bucks are discussing hiring Kidd as their team president and the Brooklyn Nets seems to be alright with this so long as they get proper compensation for their head coach.
Compensation discussions don't guarantee Kidd is sure to leave Nets but at least one source believes we'll know one way or another by Monday

Adrian Wojnarowski from Yahoo! Sports then reported that the compensation the Bucks can give — or would like to give — isn’t going to match what the Nets will want in return for Kidd should this deal continue to unfold.
Realistic compensation for Bucks to deliver Nets: "Bunch of second-round picks," one source says. No doubt Nets pursuing a first-rounder.

A bunch of second round picks will not cut it as next year’s draft doesn’t look to be as deep as this year’s was and that first round compensation is what the Nets will want.
The Bucks have to look at where they think they’ll be in 2014-15 as they project as a lottery team again and a rather high one. Trading that to the Nets for a team president is a bit odd and it’s even less attractive when considering it’s Jason Kidd.
Still, Milwaukee wants to become a destination and a well known market and they’re certainly making the waves to get them there sooner rather than later.
Just note: notoriety and success aren’t always the same thing.
