Over the weekend, reports began to surface that Jason Kidd could be one-and-done as the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets. That was not because he was being fired, but traded to the Milwaukee Bucks.

There were plenty of jokes because the potential deal seemed to be too much to believe, but now it is closer than ever to becoming a reality.
Early Monday morning, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports passed along the news that a deal between the Bucks and Nets was one step closer to being completed and that a potential deal could be done within 24 hours.
What would the Nets get in exchange for the coach that they brought in just a year ago?
A second-round pick… or two.
Possibility of getting Bucks 1st-round pick for Kidd is remote. Several sources believe deal gets done in 24 hours w/ a 2nd rounder, or two.

Well, that escalated quickly. It also appears that things could be getting ugly in Milwaukee.
Lost in this is violation of coach's code: You don't pursue job belonging to someone else. Humiliating end for Larry Drew. Kidd's shameless.

Wojnarowski also believes that not only will Kidd be the Bucks head coach, but he could eventually take over full control of the organization.
And don’t blink, because the messy situation could only be beginning.
